When I found out I was pregnant I was 17 years old. I was really scared. I couldn't believe I was pregnant, so I had to take three pregnancy tests to believe it. I wasn't ready to be a mom, I didn't know what I was going to do, or how I was going to provide all the things that a baby needs. I was really scared to tell my mom. I didn't tell my mom I was until I was three months. She got really disappointed but happy at the same time because she was going to be a grandma for the first time. After my mom told me that she was going to help me, and that I didn't have to move out I felt so much better because I didn't have anywhere else to go since the father of my baby didn't want me to have her. A month later he told me that he loves us and that he wasn't going to leave us alone and asked me to move in with him and his parents until we could rent somewhere else. So I had a talk with my mom about moving in with him, and she said that if that would make me happy then it was okay with her.I started to feel my baby moving when I was 5 months pregnant. When I found out I was going to have a girl I got sad because I wanted to have a boy. But then I didn't care because she’s my life and it doesn't matter what sex she is I will always love her no matter what. Ever since i got pregnant I would always throw up whenever I eat something. That didn't stop until was 7 months pregnant. It was really bad because i weighed less than what I was supposed to. But then It all went away and I felted better. I started to have the false contractions 5 days before I gave birth. It was really bad. I couldn't sleep because they would hurt so bad. On July 9 I started having the real contractions at 1 am. My mom told me to count how frequent they were and how long. So I had to wait in my room until I couldn't take it anymore. At 6 am I decide it was time to go to the hospital. When I got there they told me to walk around the hospital because I was only 1 centimeter dilated, but since I was having strong contractions they couldn't send me back home. After walking for a while they checked how dilated I was and i was 4 so they told me to do some exercises with a yoga ball. Then the contractions got even worse so they told me to lay down in the bathtub with hot water, and that’s when my water broke. When I was 6 centimeters dilated when i got stuck, I wouldn't dilate more, i waited hours and i still wouldn't dilate and it was hurting really bad. So the doctor recommended me get the epidural. When I got the epidural I started to feel so much better. But my baby was on the wrong position so it was going to take more time for my baby to be born. My baby was finally born on July 9 at 10:23 pm. After all the pushing and strong contractions it was all worth it because for the first time i got to see the love of my life Liah Garcia. I love her so much I would do anything to see her happy.
